Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited too:

  1. Development of New Business:
    • Focus on new business revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
    • Prepare tenders, reports, presentations, and approve rates for types of customers.
    • Generate and follow up on qualified leads.
    • Analyze clients’ needs, propose courier solutions, and close deals.
  2. Service Excellence:
    • Ensure continuous follow-up on pending clients by the Sales Team.
    • Manage and retain client relationships, providing professional service, including after-sales service and regular follow-ups.
  3. Sales Targets and Administration:
    • Exceed sales objectives by promoting and selling courier services.
    • Consistently achieve relevant product/monthly targets.
    • Submit weekly call reports to the General Manager.
    • Keep the pipeline up to date.
    • Manage internal administrative processes.
    • Attend meetings and submit weekly stats.
    • Ensure commission sheets are signed off by the General Manager and submitted to HR.
  4. Product Knowledge:
    • Learn new product knowledge and acquire improved selling skills.
    • Stay informed about competition services and markets.
  5. Communication:
    • Ensure effective communication between Sales Teams and supporting departments.
    • Respond to and assist with Sales department queries.
    • Maintain effective communication with the General Manager and colleagues.


Knowledge & Experience:

  • Matric or Senior Certification equivalent.
  • MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Minimum of 5 years Sales experience, preferably in the Logistics Industry.
