Cima Graduate Internships for 2025 :

Business Investments :

Degree in Accounting and Finance (with Accounting 2 as a module)

 

The CIMA Internship Programme is designed for recent graduates eager to start a career in SME finance, combining academic knowledge with hands-on experience.

 

Duration of Internship :  24 months (renewable after 12 months – year 1).  Commences 01 February 2025.

 

Programme Highlights

  • Objective: Bridge the gap between study and workplace requirements in SME finance.
  • Training: Structured modules covering business finance, management, and soft skills, with a dedicated coach for guidance.
  • Goal: Prepare interns for full-time employment in SME finance.

Modules

  • Core Modules: SME and entrepreneurship, due diligence, financial models, and taxation.
  • Soft Skills: Assertiveness, emotional intelligence, diversity, and stress management.
  • Management Skills: Negotiation, leadership, customer service, sales, and report writing.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualifications: Hold or be completing a relevant degree with sound academic results, including:
    • BCom in Financial Accounting (General or Chartered Accounting)
    • BBusSc in Finance with Accounting
    • Postgraduate Diploma/Honours in Accounting or BCom Honours in Management Accounting
  • Interest in CIMA Qualification: The intern should aim to complete a CIMA qualification.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • South African citizenship
    • should be 25 years or younger
    • No previous permanent employment
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Computer literacy
    • Attributes such as focus, hard work, passion for entrepreneurship, and SME finance.
