Job Description:

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years successful external sales experience in similar industry providing engineering/technical sales support and solutions
• Sales background in Engineering, IT and Networking, industrial automation and IT solutions (or similar)
• BCom Diploma or similar (advantageous)
• N+ Course in related field (networking/industrial IT)
• Engineering qualification/experience (advantageous)
• Basic knowledge of SAP software (training provided)
• Operate a CRM system
• MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (presentations)
• Selling, designing, supporting, and implementing industrial automation applications and solutions
• Age: 30 to 40 years
• South African Citizen and valid ID
• Own reliable car and valid Code B driver’s license (advantage PDP license)
• Resides in Gauteng area (approx. 15km radius)
• Travelling required
• Excellent communication skills, proficient in English,
• Positive attitude and highly motivated
• Ability to work under pressure

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Growing existing database and generating new leads
• Liaise with customers, generates and follows up on quotations and invoicing daily
• Tenders & Projects: from conception to completion
• Updates CRM system with all relevant information
• Professional, positive presentation and representation of the company, its products and services
• Achieve Monthly Sales Targets
• Achieve external calls and meeting targets
• Achieves weekly sales meeting target
• Works well with peers to become part of the growing team
• Reports to and works closely with the sales manager
