JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

If you are passionate about bicycles and have knowledge of this industry such as how to service a bike, and have a great track record in selling, then this opportunity may be for you!

As a Sales Rep, you will be responsible for promoting and expanding our services into an already established marketplace. This position requires leadership experience and phenomenal customer service skills. The successful Sales Representative will work very closely with Management in directing the performance of sales and supply of spares and equipment into this marketplace.

 

EDUCATION / COMPUTER PACKAGES:

  • South African Citizen and valid ID book
  • Minimum 5 Years external sales experience in the Bicycle Industry
  • Minimum qualification level:
  • Matric Certificate
  • Excellent online communication and computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Emails)
  • Confident and well-spoken on the telephone.
  • Positive attitude and motivated
  • Reliable car and valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing and able to travel periodically based on customer and business needs.
  • Sound understanding of :
  • Seasonal Forecasting and reporting
  • Bicycle parts and accessories.
  • Added advantage: Knowledge of the Bicycle Industry and Electric Bicycle Industry.
  • Attend to digital marketing, supply advertising, and/or content creation.
  • Timeous delivery of orders, processing quotes, and invoices
  • Area- National

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quotations
  • Following up on quotes weekly
  • Liaising with customers on a daily basis.
  • Data Capturing and updating existing customer database.
  • Processing Orders and Invoicing
  • Research on new customers, analyze market needs, and develop strategies.
  • each achievable sales targets and growing sales.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss customer status.
  • Achieve weekly meeting targets and KPl’s.
  • Cold calling and stores visits
  • Reports to sales manager.
  • Continuous Business development and data mining.
  • Stocktake, delivery, and collection of spares
  • Stock forecasting for seasonal procurement
