Job Description:

Our client in the logistics and supply chain industry seeks a young and dynamic candidate for the position of Fleet Manager – to be based in East London

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed Matric Certificate
• Completed Tertiary Qualification – National Diploma or BTech in Logistics/ Transport or Supply Chain
• 2+ years working experience in logistics/ fleet environment
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Valid driver’s license – essential
• Applicants must be EL based and willing to work shifts

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The successful candidate would be required but not limited to;

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the depot, including short-term planning and scheduling of daily operations
• Budget control and resource planning
• Client services and relationship management; interacting with clients and resolving complaints
• Oversee and manage a fleet of vehicles
• Trip and site management
• Attending to adhoc administrative and reporting tasks
• Supervising and managing staff; performance management
