EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • Tertiary education – Beneficial
  • Fluent in English – Xhosa speaking beneficial
  • Good writing and comprehension of English
  • Computer literate
  • Related experience in management or the managing of a team of people
  • Experience in retail – Beneficial
  • Must have Whatsapp

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a list of daily/weekly duties – including but not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the daily/weekly running and balancing of the store
  • Ensuring accurate bi-weekly stock takes
  • Responsible for receiving stock, inspecting the quality then booking in stock (Purchases)
  • Managing staff shifts and planning weekly staffing of the store
  • Issuing discipline to staff
  • Merchandising/marketing of all products
  • Stock rotation – ensuring quality control of all stock and marking down or spoiling relevant stock.
  • Housekeeping – delegating responsibilities and ensuring the highest standard of hygiene throughout the store
  • Reporting any maintenance/equipment issues to Head office in a timely manner
  • Being able to understand the usage file for each product and interpret the information
  • Organize in-house promotion of various products to boost sales
  • Responsible for ensuring the opening and locking up of the store each day
  • Maintaining the cold chain within the store
  • Delegating instructions to staff on a daily basis
