JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

To provide specialist remuneration and benefits support to the Remunerations and Benefits unit and HR team

EDUCATION / COMPUTER PACKAGES:

  • National Diploma in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology (NQF Level 6)
  • Global Remuneration Professional Certification (GRP) is essential
  • A qualification in Finance and/or Statistic (advantageous)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Intermediate MS Word and PowerPoint skills

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years related remuneration experience
  • Extensive experience in the HR SAP and other relevant HRIS systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information
  • Knowledge of remuneration processes, systems and overall industry best practice
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding and/or experience of cost and benefit analysis
  • Experience of operations with highly confidential and sensitive information with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users clearly and concisely
  • Ability to review, implement and maintain efficient systems and processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide specialist support in respect to Remuneration, Benefits, Reward and HR Policies and Procedures including management information reporting
    • Conduct research in areas regarding remuneration, benefits and HR policy development in order to analyse or predict market trends
    • Conduct research and analysis in different areas involving compensation, such as compensation statistics and market analysis
    • Identify remuneration, reward, benefits and HR policy surveys to participate in, in order to benchmark SANRAL against the market
    • Analyse and interpret HR data and provide input to HR reports
  • Manage stakeholder relationships within HR and across the entity
  • Involvement in the annual remunerations reviews, salary increases and short-term incentives and related HR policy changes
    • Prepare project plans
    • Provide training to all HR personnel regarding Remuneration and Benefits policy and other related policies
  • Responsible for SAP HR Enterprise Compensation Management (ECM)
  • HR Project Management
    • Assist with the development and implementation of HR reward projects
