Job Description:

Our client seeks an experienced services sales representative for an available vacancy in Cape Town

Key Skills and Requirements: 

• Completed Matric Certificate
• Valid drivers’ license is essential
• 5+ years’ service industry sales experience – external sales (a must)
• A proven track record in consistently achieving/ exceeding targets
• Applicants must reside in and be familiar with the Cape Town area

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

The successful candidate would be required, but not limited to: 

Drive the company’s growth through business development and client management; from prospecting of new business to conducting research across various sectors, identifying and segmenting target markets and setting daily sales activity goals. 

• Networking to establish the brand within the marketplace, attending training with suppliers and keeping up to date with product and service knowledge.
• Preparation of quotations, proposals, tenders and presentations
• Prospecting of new business; identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential clients and engaging in cold calling, email marketing and other outreach strategies
• Responsible for planning and carrying out research activities across various sectors and gathering market information to identify trends and opportunities
• Identifying and segmenting target markets; developing strategies to penetrate identified market segments and customize sales approaches for various markets
• Networking extensively to establish and promote the brand, attending industry events and network meetings
