Job Description:


  • Excellent communication and language skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • 10 + years’ experience within Tenders, procurement or supply chain
  • Strong Project management and planning skills
  • Exceptional computer literacy with the following packages: MS Office with intermediate competency on Excel
  • Basic accounting knowledge

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing of the group non-core business opportunities via tenders and other platforms
  • Source suppliers of various products across a broad spectrum
  • Ensuring that responses are fully compliant with tender requirements and ensuring timeously delivery with the highest quality
  • Liaise with external partners on tender requirements (i.e. Letters of Intent)
  • Coordinate and assist with the review of Service Level Agreements (“SLAs”)
  • Managing this process to ensure that SLAs are finalised and signed-off. Ensure that all requirements mentioned in the SLA are communicated
  • Generating final documentation in keeping with Company rules and guidelines
  • Ensure that all responses are tracked within the Compliance’s CRM system.
  • Communicate and collaborate by ensuring that the Company and the procurement best practices are adhered to at all times.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and continuously build new relationships across the firm in order to foster cross selling of low-hanging opportunities across the firm and its various departments.
  • Produce professional tenders, of the highest standard whilst maintaining corporate values
  • Compile and update tender specifications for distribution through the sales structure
  • Prepare a contract management file for each successful tender bid, for hand-over to the relevant sales structure for the execution of the contract
  • Maintain confidentiality surrounding tenders and pricing strategies
  • Where necessary, working with technical consultants, specialists and contractors
  • Evaluate tenders to determine viability
  • Ensure companies mark-up is agreed upon by management, is competitive and is maintained
  • Applying a Strategic mind and entrepreneurial concept to tenders
  • Tender Filing and maintain standard tender resources
  • Work closely with Company Procurement Officer
