Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

The purpose of the CMT Manager, is to oversee the production line and manage the machinist team, and the procurement of all materials.

EDUCATION / COMPUTER PACKAGES:

• Matric
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Production and Business Management or similar
• Managed around 200 + staff members.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Sewing/Textile environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect work for adherence to specifications.
• Train workers in assembly of new style garments
• Troubleshoot problems that occur during production
• Instruct and communicate accordingly with management and technical support
• Manage and oversee the production line according to production plan and delivery schedule to ensure deadlines and output targets are met.
